“Hi ladies,

Just to share from my personal experience, you should go for lymphatic drainage massage as part of post-lipo care.

I found a special therapist, Ms Jannifer, who was recommended by another CozyCotter and I approached her for help. My bruises, swelling and hard lumps went down very quickly and it really helped to bring out my post-op shape.

You can call her for appointments at 9683-2379. Please rest assured that I am not paid to ‘advertise’ Jannifer’s services. I just hope to be able to help other lipo patients since I once received the same help.

Hope you will have a speedy recovery!”

"Dear cotters,

I would like to share my experience from my lipo/vaser. I believe that there are many people out there are unaware about the Scar Tissue (Hard Lumps) which started to form during healing process after the lipo/vaser.
After my 1st lipo/vaser, I experience uneven surface on my skin and hard lumps underneath my skin. As I’m in the healing process and I convince myself that it will subside as the time goes by.  I had gone to those beauty salon who self-acclaimed that they are specialist in resolving the hard lumps by offering Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage (MLD). After several sessions, my problem is not resolved and it added to a higher level of disappointment.

Hereby, I have some pointers to share:
After lipo/Vaser, you will start having bruising, pain, soreness, numbness and lumpiness. Within the 1st two weeks, you may start experiencing tissue swelling.

What is Scar Tissue/Hard Lumps?
During the healing process, the body wills starts to form Scar Tissue (Hard Lumps) whereby it may block the lymph drainage and causes the skin to look uneven, dimpled. When you stretch your body, you may feel abit of tightness, sore and numbness on the lipo/vaser area. Other than compression garment, post-op massage helps to aid to eliminate inflammation and water retention on the areas after lipo/vaser.

Post-op massage is a combination of a gentle and light stroke massage whereby you will feel comfortable and relax on the lipo/vaser area. Throughout the massage, you will not experience any pain or discomfort at all. After the massage, you will feel lighter as the swelling is minimized; Scar Tissue (Hard Lumps) will be less visible and dissolved. You will tend to visit the toilet more often as the fluid is drain through the lymph nodes.

Kindly do your reading and search carefully regarding about post-op care. Please do not have the perception that by doing Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage or Deep Tissue Massage will aid to resolve the formation of scar tissue. I’m glad to found a therapist to resolve my Scar Tissue (Hard Lumps) and she is specialist in post-op massage for vaser/lipo. Most of her clientele is recommended by the local and overseas plastic surgeons.

As I have been a silent reader for several forums, I have decided to speak out and share my experience. Hopefully the above information gives u a better idea.”

“To say that Jann’s massage is simply a post care treatment is really an understatement. She is truly a healing angel. Anyone who is suffering from after lipo discomfort will not only find relief from pain, but a also a friend who is genuinely there to help you. My hat’s off to Jann. Thank you”

“Let’s just say I was big(XL size), and the avg amt removed each area is 3 ltrs- only my arms was under 3 but tat’s a lot for arms (that explains why it hurts so bad!)…so, its not a small amt removed..i was in pain – clearly. But because i saw results after each procedure, and got wiser with the pain mgmt techniques, i went for more procedures…

Just FYI – i start my massage as early as 2nd or 3rd dayt post-session. The stitches were not even removed, but soooo much trapped fluids were removed within those 1st few sessions – such a relived! This masseur is based in Far East Shpg ctr as well – so it was literally a ‘go to doc to remove stitches’ then ‘go for massage’ .. Did you go to the other one at Tg Pagar or something?? As far as i know, there’s only 1 masseur skilled in post-lipo msg. I was given her contact by the nurses in TLC/Reves.”

“Jennifer is highly recommended.. she seems to be the only niche specialist in post lipo massage around in singapore after my search.. you must try her out and see the results for yourself..every time she massages for me I feel super relieved of the swelling and look more shapely.. it is not painful at all! Her clientele is super huge.. all referred to by local and overseas lipo doctors, that’s why she is super famous but her charges are reasonable and she is really genuinely helpful in giving useful post-care advice.. I have been on my road to healing and after every one of Jennifer’s session, I feel increasingly lighter and slimmer!

It’s so important to start the post-care massage within the first week of post liposuction, I was very worried that day when I came back from Medan because I was like imobilized … cannot move.. stiff all over.. and when I called Jennifer her schedule was all packed, but she is so nice to agree to do housecall for me very late in the night just to help me with my swell and stiffness! Instantly after her magic healing touch I felt much better and can move!! also had the urge to go toilet, she told me it’s because i was dispelling the unwanted stuff in my body..”

“Wonderful service, I feel so relieved after the post care massage! I had so much problem trying to move a few days after my surgery but luckily the doctor referred me to Jannifer and she was such a great help. Her massage is very soothing and makes me want to sleep everytime I go for her sessions. After she is done, I feel my body is gradually less stiff and I can move much better. Thanks, Jannifer. You have made my day.”

Just thought I should really thank you for your healing hands / touch these past few months. The day came when I met Jann for the first time. I was expecting the therapy to be painful given the state I was in but to my surprise, it was really comfortable and I nearly fell asleep! She used her special technique on me and I actually had to pee a couple of times during the session. I can feel that my body was expelling the water and I felt much lighter after the first session. I was convinced and had to booked Jann for the next couple of sessions. 5 days later, my bruising was almost gone and I could see my tummy shape coming out and the hard lumps were getting softer and minimized.…………….

I had surgery done in Europe, returned to Singapore 2 weeks after surgery. Got medical adviice to do some post care massage. Decided to google it and found out that Jann is specialized in post care massage in SG, with great reviews. Texted her and she was incredibly responsive, managed to get appointment right away for evaluation and first treatment. Im on my way 3rd week of treatments with Jann and results are incredible - almost no hard lumps already and pulling sensation / swelling almost gone. I totally recommend her post care treatment and Im sure I'll reach out to her for future surgeries post care treatment.

I highly recommend all to visit Jannheal after liposuction. I remember I had really swollen and bad looking legs after my liposuction and the swelling just gets worse as time goes by. My doctor told me that my legs will look good after 6 months and that didnt happen. My legs only started looking better after going to Jann. My legs feel lighter and slimmer after just one session of post lipo care. Since then I have been doing at least once a week and I have been her patient for almost 9 years now. I cant imagine how my legs would look like if I have never met her. Other than my legs, going to her always make my  day better. She is very friendly and never fail to make me laugh. Our massage session always end up with us laughing for that whole 2 hours. Do ensure that you have regular post care to maintain the shape of your post-lipoed legs, I mean isnt that why did liposuction in the first place? To have slimmer looking legs? Hence maintenence through post lipo care is important and this is the kind of money you cant save on.

I have been under Jann healing hands for a couple of years. Recently I had a new lipo surgery done on my arms at one of the renowned clinics in Singapore. Needless to say, I was experiencing all that after effects like the numbness, soreness, itchiness and hard lumps from a liposuction surgery BUT I am so fortunate to have authentic post lipo care from Jann and I thank her for saving me from my agony. To all ladies out there who had liposuction surgery - help yourself, help your body, post care is a MUST!

Thank you from your understanding!! You have save me from a lot of suffering two weeks ago. In fact, I've mentioned to a lot of my friends and the doctor thus you have help me otherwise I will be so suffering then. May you be blessed with happiness and good health.

My first visit to Jan’s Lipo Care session was a pleasant and educative one. As I was doubtful and slightly depressed about the lumps in my arms, she assured me that this is only temporary and she would be able to remove those lumps and indentations with her lipocare technique – note that it is not a deep tissue therapy, her therapy is a technique which enable de-swelling at the initial phase after liposuction operation. The second stage, is about fixing the lumps and you don’t feel any pain at all. Therefore, you can expect final good results without indentation, or uneven-ness, which is totally worth for the value for the service I pay……………

I can’t walk around too much because my legs get sore and swell up easily, and for someone like me that walked alot everyday, it’s a restrain for me. The swelling goes on for about 3-6months, I stopped massaging my thighs after 2months because I’m really tired. I get swelling every now and then, and my legs get so stiff and heavy, I don’t even feel like walking. I got really depressed because they looked huge and ugly. it’s only recently like maybe 1-2months ago, I decided to seek help. I remembered I once read somewhere about POST LIPO CARE so I googled that, and read that there is this Jennifer who does Post Lipo therapy. But I really want to emphasize that POST LIPO CARE is very important if you want to go for liposuction! This is the kind of money that you don’t want to save.

She is very open and willing to share her wealth of knowledge and everything about lipo. Having done post care ever since lipo became famous, she certainly has a lot of experience. She also said she was trained in Australia and I think there is non more certified and qualified like her. Lymphatic drainage is difference from post care therapy, and she is the only one doing it correctly and specializes in it.
